Playing
How do I book?
In the Vantar app, pick a sport and a venue, choose a free time and pay with Paystack. If a venue sent you its link, open it in your browser and book there, no account needed.
Is there a booking fee?
No. You pay the price the venue sets, nothing added.
How long is my slot held while I pay?
15 minutes. While it's held, nobody else can book it. If the payment doesn't finish, the slot opens again.
Can I cancel?
It depends on the venue's rule, which you see before you pay: up to 6 hours before, up to 24 hours before, or no cancelling online. Cancel from your bookings in the app.
What do I show at the venue?
Your booking code. It's on your ticket in the app and on the confirmation page if you booked from a link.
Where is Vantar available?
Abuja first. Football (5, 7 and 11-a-side), padel, basketball, tennis and badminton, at the venues that have joined.
Where do I get the app?
It's on its way to the App Store and Google Play. Until then, book from a venue's link in your browser.
Running a venue
How do I list my venue?
Sign up with your email, name your business, then add your venue: its pitches or courts, at least three photos, opening hours, prices and the bank account for payouts. A person at Vantar reviews it, and then it goes live.
How long does the review take?
A person reads every venue, so it isn't instant. We'll email you as soon as it's done, or tell you exactly what to change.
What does it cost?
Listing is free. We take a commission on bookings paid online through Vantar. Walk-ins, phone bookings, cash and transfers you record on the desk carry none. Email us for the current rate.
When do I get paid?
Paystack pays your share to your bank the next working day after a player pays. Your very first payout gets a one-time check that can add a day or two.
Do you hold my money?
No. Each online payment is split by Paystack the moment it's made, and your share goes straight to your bank.
Can my staff use it?
Yes. Invite them by email as a Manager, Front desk or Gate, and choose which venues each one works at.
My big pitch splits into two smaller ones. Does that work?
Yes. Link the halves to the whole once, and the system never lets the same grass be booked twice.
Can you set it up for me?
Yes. Email us and we'll build the listing for you, then send you a link to claim it.
Payments
Who handles the payments?
Paystack, a Nigerian payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
Something went wrong with a payment
Email us with your booking code and what happened, and we'll sort it out with you and the venue.
Talk to a person
Email us and a person will reply. Include your booking code if it’s about a booking.
